작년에 보헤미안랩소디 영화로 인해 다시 주목받게 된 그룹 퀸.

천만 영화가 되었으면 좋겠다고 바랬으나 아깝게 문턱에서 멈췄죠.

저라도 한번더 볼걸 그랬어요ㅠ.ㅠ

어쨌든 그 영화를 재밌게 보셨거나 안보셨더라도

프레디머큐리에 대한 짧은 글을 영어와 함께 한글로 소개하려고 합니다.

This story is about Freddie Mercury.

이 글은 프레디 머큐리에 대한 스토리입니다.

Freddie Mercury was born Frederick Bulsara on September 5, 1946, 

프레디 머큐리는 프레드릭슨 파로크 불사라라는 이름을 가지고 9월5일, 1946년,

in Zanzibar, an island that is now part of Tanzania.

지금은 탄자니아에 속한 잔지바라는 섬에서 태어났습니다.

Despite his surname and birthplace, Freddie Mercury's parents are both British,

그의 성과 태생지에도 불구하고, 프레디머큐리의 부모님은 모두 영국인이며

his father being a British diplomat.

그의 아버지는 외교관이었습니다.

As a result, Freddi attended boarding school in Bombay, India, until he was thirteen, at which time he returned to English.

결과적으로 프레디머큐리는 봄베이(인도)에 있는 학교를 13살때까지 다녔고, 그때쯤 영국으로 돌아옵니다.

On leaving school, Freddi entered Ealing college of art, where his contemporaries

Freddie graduated from Ealing with a Diploma in art and design, equivalent to a degree.

Along with his artistic sensibilities, and in common with most art school students of the period,

Freddie became intrigued by the possibilities of pop music,

and in early bands like Sour Milk Sea and Wreckage he began to develop his song writing, and his stage persona.
